‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ star Teresa Giudice confronts talk show host and producer Andy Cohen for spreading rumors about her departure from the show.
In an interview with SiriusXM radio, Cohen revealed that he was approached by Teresa backstage at “Watch What Happens Live,” where she allegedly said, “I need to talk to you about some things that are in the book,” referring to his recently released book, ‘The Daddy Diaries: The Year I Grew Up’.
The two ended up having a personal conversation, and Cohen said: “She said, ‘You know, I didn’t quit the show at the last reunion,’ and I said, ‘That’s not what I said.’ Later, Giudice sent a message stating that she was not leaving the show and never wanted to.
Apparently, there was a misunderstanding between the two about Andy’s comments at the season 13 reunion. It’s not surprising that the discussion became heated between them, especially after he publicly insinuated his irritation with Teresa’s behavior during the reunion recording.
RHONJ continues to be an endless source of news. Much of the drama is attributed to the tense rivalry between characters Teresa and Melissa, wife of Giudice’s brother Joe Gorga. A story that has generated a lot of attention in season 13 is Melissa and Joe’s refusal to attend Teresa’s wedding to Luis Ruelas, which took place on August 6, 2022, in East Brunswick, New Jersey. The couple’s absence continued to fuel the family feud.
Teresa and Luis will star in a special called ‘Teresa Gets Married’, which will put all the focus on the landmark event. However, even though it’s a happy day for the actress, it doesn’t mean there won’t be controversies. A recently released trailer for the special already showed some of the expected drama during the event, including the absence of Melissa and Joe.
The season 13 reunion of RHONJ will begin airing a week after the wedding. It is not known when season 14 will air or be filmed, as there are reports indicating that the show has been postponed due to the discussion between characters Teresa and Melissa.
